Come and experience the farm vibes! Meet your horse, learn how to groom, and tack your horse before your mounted lesson. Get to know our setting and instruction style with no commitment - after your first initial lesson, you can decide whether you'd like to commit, just like getting acquainted over coffee or tea. See if you (and your child!) are enjoying yourselves in this atmosphere before committing further into lessons & training. Birthday Party/Events

Give your kids a one-of-a kind birthday with our equine fun! Our stables provide an unforgettable experience for any special occasion - perfect for the little horse lovers in your family.

Leadline classes for children 6 years old and under 

This class is every first Saturday of each month throughout the year. 

 The class starts at 10:00 am and ends at 11:00 am

Children may ride several times in the hour and can ride different horses and ponies, and they may also pet and get comfortable with the horses.

 If they have a bicycle riding helmet that will do, if not, we do have helmets they can borrow.

There is a restroom on the property. 

Thank you for giving your young child the great experience and pleasure of horseback riding.

Groups

You will need to wear shoes with a heel or boots with a heel, like rain boots, cowboy boots are acceptable. Leggings or yoga pants or sweat pants, loose-fitting jeans are acceptable.

If you have a bike helmet that fits you properly that will do if not we have several loaner helmets you can borrow . Please arrive 15-20 minutes before your scheduled riding lesson time, this is so you can meet the horse you will ride and start learning how to groom and tack up the horse.

Trail Rides

Here at Out of the Box Stables we want you to feel safe on your trail ride so we offer a 1/2 an hour lesson on the same day as your trail ride so you can learn to control your horse in the walk and trot before heading out on a trail ride. 

 If you arent so confident in the lesson we can assign a ground assistant who can walk along side of you and your horse, this way you can still enjoy the scenic trail.



If you choose to schedule your event at Out of the Box Stables, plan on arriving 15 minutes before your scheduled event, you will be able to learn how to groom the horses and tack them up. Plan on approximately 1hr 45 minutes from start to end.

We do have weight limits on some of our horses, please let us know how many riders you anticipate and there weights.
